Managing & Leading
People
A 2-Day Foundation Programme for Managers, Team Leaders and Supervisors.
Next open programme:
The 'Managing & Leading People' Foundation Programme is a two-day event held in London.
It is open to managers and team leaders (at all levels) who would like to build a solid foundation on which to base their success as a leader of others.
The programme can also be offered in-house, via face-to-face or virtual delivery options.

For both large and small organisations, a lot hinges on the effectiveness of their managers, team leaders and supervisors. Take turnover, for example. According to PwC, when employees decide to leave their organisation and take their talents elsewhere, 8 in 10 cite their relationship with their manager as a reason for leaving. We can also look to team engagement - and find that (according to Gallup) 70% of the variance in team engagement is solely down to the behaviour of managers. In this sense, profitability, is affected too, with MIT concluding that organisations scoring in the top quartile for employee experience & engagement achieve on average 25% higher profits than those in the bottom quartile.

What becomes clear when reading through such studies is that managers play a pivotal role when it comes to ensuring the success of their organisations. The 'Managing & Leading People' Foundation Programme recognises this simple truth, and over the course of two days offers delegates an opportunity to gain a solid base of cutting-edge skills for leading their teams, for enabling them to achieve remarkable results, and for fostering an environment in which high performance thrives.
